What we need from you

  • Employment contract Indicating terms and conditions of employment.
  • Stamped pay slips of the last 3 months
  • Employment and salary certificates recently signed
  • Undertaking by employer to channel the borrower’s salary through his/her account with BPR Bank.
  • Bank statement of the last 6 months for non BPR customers
  • One color passport photograph for the borrower and the guarantor
  • Loan clearance certificate / loan certificate for non BPR customers
  • Original and copy of National ID or passport of the borrower and the guarantor
  • Proof of marital status (certificate of marriage, celibacy, divorced or widowed)
  • Dully filled BPR loan application form
  • Positive CRB report
  • Promissory note

Rates & Fees

  • Interest rate - Tie 1: Base rate + 2.5%, Tie 2: Base rate + 3.5%, Tie 3: Base rate + 4%
  • Facility fees (one off) - 2%
  • Monthly management fee - 0.1%
  • Loan amount - Tier 1: Frw 30 million, Tier 2: Frw 6 million, Tiee 3: Frw 4 million
  • Repayment capacity - 50% of net salary
